This autumn we are making the 'Cabin Fence' quilt top over 3 sessions from September to November. This is an attractive quilt that is a mix of the 'Log Cabin and Rail Fence' design. There are 3 different ways of making this quilt which you can choose from, (details will be sent on booking). The more structured colour layout is shown in the photos above.
 
The course is suitable for beginners or experinced sewers. (You will need your own sewing machine each month and be confident in how to use it).
 
With only a few spaces remaining  on the afternoon session, the Cabin Fence Quilt Course is running once a month for 3 months on the following days:
 
Saturday 14th September
Saturday 12th October and
Saturday 23rd November
 
Each class is 1.15 - 3.45pm, but come along to set up each time from 1pm.
 
The room we use is on the upper floor at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve Visitor Centre, (but it does have a chair lift available if necessary). 
 
A copy of the new pattern is included with the course and you will be sent a supply list for the equipment needed when you book. There is actually 3 different designs to choose from when making this quilt top, which is detailed in the supply list which will be emailed for you. You may want to make all 3 later, once you know how.
